Last night I made an almond torte. I had seen this recipe on Everyday Food and was intrigued. It's basically just almonds, egg whites and sugar. I had almond meal from Trader Joe's, so I used that instead of grinding my own almond flour. The torte came out very light, with a unique texture from the almonds. It would be good served with raspberry or strawberry sauce.
